Mapletree’s first property in India, Global Technology Park (GTP), aims to set a new benchmark for Information Technology parks in Bengaluru (also known as Bangalore). When completed, GTP will offer a total net lettable area of close to 1.9 million sq ft.
The first phase of the development, comprising two Grade A office towers, was completed on April 2015. The buildings boast column-free architecture that offers large floor plates, allowing businesses to maximise space efficiency. This gives modern businesses the versatility needed to adapt their space needs with evolving business trends and demands.
The first Phase of GTP is also equipped with sustainable features, with the project built according to LEED Gold Level rating benchmarks.
GTP is located in the middle of the Information Technology bustle of Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, the new, highly sought-after business district of Bengaluru, and enjoys good connectivity to the whole of Bengaluru, including to the city and airport. It is also nestled in an area which houses many blue-chip multinational corporations which consider this area a preferred IT/ITES office location.
